About My Loan Table
My Loan Table is a free loan amortization calculator created by Marchelle Cook of Roof & Ratio. Its purpose is simple: help people see their monthly principal-and-interest payment, understand the payment schedule, and explore recurring extra principal payments.
A practical tool with no signup
Enter a loan amount, fixed interest rate and term. The calculator produces a month-by-month table and lets you print it or download a CSV. Calculations happen in your browser, and the site does not collect your loan inputs.
How the estimates work
The calculator uses the standard fixed-rate monthly-payment formula. Interest is calculated on the remaining principal each month. Extra principal is applied monthly from the first payment, and the final payment is capped at the amount needed to clear the balance. See the worked example and calculation method.
These are educational estimates. They exclude taxes, insurance, fees and variable interest rates, and they are not lender quotes or individualized financial advice. Differences in payment timing and rounding can change a lender’s figures.
